Product Safety & Ingredients
The full safety picture for both products in one place. When in doubt, bring the label to your doctor or pharmacist — it's a two-minute conversation.
El Diario — who should ask first
Contains iron. Keep out of reach of children — accidental iron overdose is a leading cause of poisoning in children under six.
If you are postmenopausal, ask your doctor before adding iron. Iron needs drop after menopause and the body has no easy way to clear excess.
El Diario is not dosed as a prenatal. If you are pregnant or nursing, ask your OB for a prenatal recommendation.
El Diario — interactions
Iron, zinc, and magnesium can interfere with the absorption of thyroid medication and certain antibiotics — separate them by a few hours. Ashwagandha is thyroid-active. Bring the label to your doctor or pharmacist before starting if you take prescription medication.
Respira — who should ask first
Contains melatonin. Take at bedtime only — never before driving or operating machinery.
Not for use during pregnancy or while nursing. Melatonin is not established as safe in either case.
Not for children. Keep out of reach of children.
Respira — interactions
Melatonin can interact with blood thinners, blood pressure medication, and diabetes medication. Valerian is sedating — do not combine it with sleep or anti-anxiety medication or alcohol. If you have an autoimmune condition or take immunosuppressants, ask your doctor first; melatonin is immune-active.
Quality & certifications
Both products are non-GMO and free of gluten, dairy, and artificial dyes. El Diario uses a plant-based capsule with no gelatin or animal inputs. Every batch is third-party tested for potency, heavy metals, and microbials, and certificates of analysis are available on request.
Together
El Diario and Respira share no overlapping ingredients and can be taken the same day — one in the morning with food, one at bedtime.
